We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Quitters.live provides an online platform to support individuals who want to quit smoking and/or reduce or stop alcohol consumption. Our services include:

• Personal quitting journal with daily check-ins and progress tracking
• Community chat room for peer support
• Educational resources and quitting guides
• Product recommendations (affiliate links)
• Weekly newsletters with tips and motivation

Important: Quitters.live is NOT a medical service. We do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice regarding addiction and recovery.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Subscription & Payments

Free Plan

A free plan is available with limited features. No payment is required.

Paid Plan

• The paid plan costs $1.50 per month, billed monthly
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated in advance, and you will have the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

When using our Service, you agree NOT to:

• Post harmful, abusive, threatening, harassing, or hateful content in the chat
• Share personal information of others without their consent
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Spam, advertise, or solicit other users
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

Violations may result in immediate account termination without notice or refund.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (journal entries, chat messages). However, by posting content to the Service:

• You grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display your content as part of the Service
• Chat messages are visible to other registered users
• Journal entries are private and only visible to you
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms

7. Affiliate Links & Product Recommendations

Our website contains affiliate links to third-party products (including ClickBank products). When you purchase through these links:

• We may earn a commission at no additional cost to you
• We are not responsible for third-party products, their quality, or their claims
• Third-party purchases are governed by that vendor's terms and refund policies

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Individual results vary. Quitting addictions is a personal journey and outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quitters.live and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quitters.live, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms
• Is harmful to other users or the Service
• Is otherwise objectionable

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Active subscriptions should be cancelled before account deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
